Though malas arise from the Buddhist tradition, their spirit is kindred to witchcraft and other magickal practices. All paths honor intention, repetition, presence, and transformation through disciplined ritual. Each bead becomes a spell in motion, each breath, a charm of awareness. Use for meditation, chanting, prayer, or spell-casting, any practice where breath and word become magick.

*To Use:

Hold the mala in your non-dominant hand.

Begin at the guru bead (the larger one).

With each bead, repeat your chosen mantra, name, or spell phrase, out loud or in the mind.

Move bead by bead until you complete the circle, then pause in silence to feel the energy you’ve raised.
