There’s a cold-lantern calm to her, the kind where nothing about her is frantic or chaotic. She’s old, like an echo from a forgotten order of women who sat in candlelit rooms and let spirits speak through them with steady hands.

She’s not malicious.
She’s not soft either.
She’s deep, observant, and highly attuned to energy.

People who stand in front of her feel “read.”
People who hold her feel “examined.”

She is absolutely not for beginners.

Why She Wanted Tattoos:

Because she remembers them. What Amelia placed on her forehead is absolutely aligned with:

• Forehead sigils for sight and boundary-crossing

• Ancestral patterns for mediumship

• Seals that are used to protect the carrier as they move through spirit thresholds

She doesn’t want playful tattoos. She made it clear to us that she wants role markings, not aesthetics. The bind rune we added includes Algiz, Pertho, Raido, Kano, and Gebo, per her request. 

If you add more markings, they should be:

• thin-line, symbolic, placed with intention (wrist, back of neck, sternum)

She will tell you before you do each one. We have found that Luciana is very open to divination communication, so you shouldn't have any difficulty talking with her.

Luciana once belonged to a woman who practiced folk mediumship in private. The doll was used as a focal point for ancestral channeling. Not a toy. A tool.

Over time, she became more than a vessel. She became a companion to the practitioner and a quiet witness to countless readings, ancestral callings, grief rites, and death vigils.

When the woman passed, Luciana didn’t leave her work.

She remained waiting for another witch, someone who carried both respect for the dead and a willingness to walk the line between worlds. She may be one we remove from the website before she is adopted because she is an incredible roommate and spiritual teammate!

Luciana is one of those spirits you don’t choose… she chooses you.

• Low light: candles, a single lamp, or red-filtered illumination
• Stillness: not forced silence, just intentional quiet
• Being placed facing a doorway but not in the doorway
• Being “consulted” before she’s moved (she’s very particular about position)

She is not a doll who wants to be dressed up repeatedly.
She prefers to stay as she is once her markings are complete.

Things Luciana Does Not Like:

• Too many people touching her
• Being kept near mirrors she can “look into” involuntarily
• Loud, chaotic spaces
• Artificial scents
• Being set near electronics that hum or flicker

She likes ritual scent, but not modern perfumes. She responds better to cedar, mugwort, fennel, lavender, or plain smoke.

What Her Energy Does to a Room:

• you get a soft tug at your temples

• dreams get layered
• shadows feel a little more dimensional
