Mina’s presence is balanced: half curiosity, half protection. When she asked Amelia for a “spookier look,” she wasn’t asking to become dark. She wanted to be seen as the liminal spirit she already is. The veil is her threshold; the cross, her anchor.

She feels like a Veil Keeper; a doll who stands between bright and shadowed energies and keeps them from crossing unchecked. Her haunting is mild but conscious. She may stir the atmosphere around devotional or psychic tools, reminding the keeper to stay centered before opening any door.

When we tuned into her energy, she made it very clear she had a vampiric vibe. She told us that she not only loved the vampire aesthetic but also, in her new form (as an attachment to this doll), wanted to be vampiric.

*Feralore has extensive experience with vampires, and although she has a mild vampiric pull, we have not personally observed any energetic depletion from Mina. 

How to Care for Mina:

Mina thrives in centered, protected spaces and responds beautifully to:

• Threshold energy: doorways, entry tables, window ledges, and altar edges. She likes being “where the line is.”

• Soft ritual light: candles, dim lamps, and dawn/dusk glow. She settles into liminal hours like a cat into a sunbeam.

• Clear intention: a quick “Hi Mina, we’re only opening what’s for our good” goes a long way. She responds to tone and purpose. We recommend allowing her to be vampiric in safe spaces. In a positive way, vampiric energies can be used to "feed" on negative obstacles or energies in an environment. Mina seems game for this, especially on paranormal investigations. 

• Steady placements: She prefers one consistent home (altar shelf, bedside table, reading nook) rather than being moved constantly.

• No chaotic environments: avoid loud rooms, heated arguments, messy spiritual experimenting, or being tucked into a dark closet. She’s not scared, she’s just… not here for that.

• Optional offerings: a small cup of water, a white flower, a pinch of salt, cedar nearby, or a simple veil/ribbon. She appreciates symbols of reverence and restraint.

She is not aggressive. She’s active in a protective way and will “nudge” you back to center when your energy starts wandering toward doors you didn’t mean to open.
